Metallizing / thermal spray in Navi Mumbai

Zinc or aluminium thermal spray after Sa 2.5 / Sa 3 blast. ISO 2063 style work from Mahape and site crews. Not a galvanizing dip.

Home / Metallizing / thermal spray in Navi Mumbai

Metallizing is wire spray, not a zinc bath. BLAST APEX blasts the steel, then sprays zinc or aluminium with arc or flame guns. Thickness is typically 100-300 microns as the spec writes. A sealer coat follows only when the data sheet says so. Galvanizing is a different process in a kettle we do not operate.

Navi Mumbai jobs are either on your plot (jetty steel, tank externals, pipe racks) or at Mahape when the member can travel. Coastal humidity is why spray zinc shows up on MMR specs: it gives a sacrificial layer after a white-metal or near-white blast. ISO 2063 is the usual process reference. We do not sell this as a company NACE badge.

Quote inputs: alloy (Zn or Al), target thickness, area, access, and whether BLAST APEX also blasts. Bring the spec page, not only “metallize it”. Survey first. WhatsApp +91 73033 03342.

FAQs

Is metallizing the same as galvanizing?

No. Metallizing sprays molten zinc or aluminium onto blasted steel. Galvanizing is a dip. Specs often name ISO 2063 for spray.

Can you spray without blasting?

Not to a serious spec. Spray needs a clean, profiled surface. We blast first unless another qualified blast is already proven.

Do you metallize in a kettle in Navi Mumbai?

No kettle. Arc and flame spray only, on site or at Mahape.
